Hmm... :-)
5 minutes later...
*thinks to self* "No way!"
*steps on scale* 178.5
This is what happened last Thursday night when I decided to weigh myself. I am officially out of the 180's and have lost about 10ish pounds now! I still can't really believe it. According to the scale (which I'm still having a hard time believing) this morning I weighed in at 176.5. That's 11.5 pounds! Holy cow! That's more that a baby weighs!
People are asking what my secret is. It is seriously the Zumba, watching the calories, and using my oils from doTerra. That is the secret folks! If you want to know more about the oils feel free to ask!
I'm still having sweet cravings, and I let myself eat the sweets, just a little. Not overboard. So Hard! I've never worked so hard before in my life to lose weight! And I'm finally gaining self control!
I had a horrible day yesterday! My math teacher has gotten real sick and isn't going to be able to return for the rest of the semester. We've had a sub that I'm not learning anything from! Well I guess he's giving us a quiz when none of us know what we are doing and he wont listen when we say we don't get it! I was crying so hard because I know i'm going to fail this test. Well I was so stressed I wanted to go work out real hard. *feels forhead* Wow! I normally would want cheese fries and ice cream. Just shows where my energy is going.
Anyway I'm real excited that I'm seeing these results! Just makes me wanna try even harder!

Darn those Girls Scouts!
And their amazing cookies! Did you know 3 thin mints = 160 calories? I didn't! I can never just eat one of those darn things! But I've been holding strong and only having 3 a day for a dessert at the end of my day. It's great!
Spring Break is now over and now it's back to school and back on track with the diet. I teach clogging on Wednesday nights and tonight for a warm up I did a 15 minute Zumba warm up and the girls loved it! Way to build the endurance. I officially decided that I want to get certified in the near future to teach. I don't think I quite have the endurance to do it yet but maybe in 15 more pounds?
I had an awesome experience today! My mom got me jeans way back last October that were a little snug, especially when I got them for Christmas. Today I tried them on to see if I could fit back in those baby's and I did! Woo hoo!
Before I go I have a little tip: Stay active all day, not just your workout. You sleep so much better when you are beat at the end of the day (plus you burn even more calories!). Did you know 1 pound of fat is 3500 calories?

Spring Break Blue's
For the past week we've been on Spring Break, and since I'm not so busy I've cheated a bit. But I've been still trying to maintain my exercise and limiting the junk. Going to the movies I'd have to say is the hardest. You just want all the munchies there! I really haven't lost anything significant this week but since I've written last I've lost a total of 7 pounds now. Hopefully next week I will completely be out of the 180's! If I do, I'm going to go get a pedicure with a facial. Now that's motivation!
Just wanted to share how I make my fries!
Preheat oven to 400
Wash a baking potato and peel
Cut the potato into french fry strips (I cut them as small as I can so it seems like I'm getting more fries)
Put the fries into a large bowl of water with a few tablespoons of canola oil in it
Mix well with your hands
Pull the fries out of the bowl and scatter them on a baking tray ( I don't, but you could sprinkle salt here if desired, not that healthy though)
I usually bake them for a total of 25 minutes and I try to flip them half way through so they get crispy
If they aren't at the end I broil them for a minute til they are
I dunk em in Ketchup! A 10 oz potato prepared this way with the ketchup is about 260 calories. Not too bad if you go look at how many calories are in your everyday french fries at McDonald's. The way I cut them makes it seem like you are eating a Large french fry from there because I cut them so small. Very satisfying and great with a small steak and some greens!
